Now Seeking Entrepreneurial Costume Partner
Classworks Theatre and Costumes is
seeking entrepreneurs with an interest in costume and theatre to help them take
advantage of a new grant from the Wessex Trust, awarded to support building a more sustainable
The company, which lost much of its public funding over the
past five years as arts cuts started to bite, has nevertheless continued to
produce exciting and important projects, including "Keep the Home Fires
Burning", the recent Living Exhibition at Townley Hall in Fulbourn
commemorating the First World War Centenary, and "Lady Connie and the
Suffragettes", which starts a nationwide tour next year.
It now seeks a partner with strong business skills to help
it move its costume hire and design arm into profitability.
We are interested in hearing
from individuals or organisations with positive ideas about increasing
profitability of the costume hire company with the goal of enabling Classworks
Theatre to achieve long term sustainability.
